Yemen’s Information Ministry accused the Houthi group of firing three ballistic missiles at a camp for displaced people west of Aden, the latest in a series of attacks that the government has blamed on the group in and around the southern port city.

The ministry identified the site as a displacement camp in Ras Imran, west of Aden, the country’s interim capital. It gave no information on casualties or damage.

Earlier on Sunday, Turkish media reported that a ballistic missile they attributed to the Houthis exploded near a government military camp in western Aden. A day before, Yemen’s Interior Ministry accused the Houthis of firing three ballistic missiles at two coast guard facilities in the city. The Houthis acknowledged attacking two military sites in Aden.

The Information Ministry also accused the group of targeting Aden International Airport and the port in Al-Tawahi over the weekend.

Yemen has been consumed by conflict since 2014, when the Houthis seized the capital, Sanaa, and other provinces, prompting a Saudi-led military coalition to intervene the following year on behalf of the internationally recognized government.

The Houthis control much of the north and west, including Sanaa, while the government and its allies hold Aden and large parts of the south and east.
