You have a Place in Heaven – Sunday Reflections by Very Rev. Fr. John Afolabi 7th May 2023.

The most difficult times in our lives is to say bye bye to our loved ones. Do not feel bad. I am the way, truth and life, no one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). Going through the way of the Lord is Narrow path. Going through the way of the World is wide. Going through the wide path is always sweet but it is the path of destruction. God is a forgiving father. Teach me your way O Lord and I will work in your truth. God has demonstrated to us in many ways that he is the life and resurrection. Some good examples are the Little girl he raised from the dead by saying Tali Taachum (Little girl Get up). Lazarus was raised from the dead 4 days after he died. Secrets to make heaven are: We must hold unto Jesus in Crisis. We must be determined to gain Heaven. We must discipline the flesh. We must not be comfortable in Sin. Have a true devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. May God gives us the grace to go through this narrow path.
